Job summary

DFA is seeking an HR Generalist to support HR programs and policies under the direction of an HR manager. You will help with recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits, and employee relations, ensuring compliance and excellent service to employees and leaders.

You will administer HRIS data, prepare EEO/AAP reporting, and assist with training, development, and special projects. The role requires strong communication, confidentiality, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 operations

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• 2 to 5 years of progressive generalist Human Resources experience.
• Experience with HR information systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Certification and/or License – Human Resources certifications preferred (e.g., SHRM, HRCI)

Responsibilities

• Administer the recruitment process for non-exempt and/or exempt positions; coordinate requisitions, postings, screening, and onboarding.
• Work with hiring managers to recruit and select candidates; review resumes and conduct interviews; coach managers on the interview process.
• Manage onboarding to ensure a positive employee experience and successful integration.
• Process payroll for employees; apply wage and labor laws to payroll; maintain payroll records and respond to inquiries.
• Prepare EEO/AAP reporting documents and generate HR reports; provide benefits enrollment information and assist with LOA processes.
