Job summary

DFA Dairy Farmers of America is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support HR programs and policies under the supervision of an HR manager. You will handle recruiting, payroll, benefits administration, onboarding, employee relations, and HR reporting with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality.

This role requires 2–5 years of HR generalist experience, familiarity with HRIS and MS Office, and a commitment to compliance and customer service for a 24/7 operations environment.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in HR or related field.
• 2–5 years progressive HR generalist experience.
• Experience with HRIS and MS Office.
• HR certifications preferred (e.g., SHRM, HRCI).

Responsibilities

• Administer recruitment for non-exempt and exempt roles.
• Coordinate requisitions, postings, screenings, interviews, onboarding.
• Partner with managers on interviewing and candidate selection.
• Oversee onboarding and payroll processing tasks.
• Prepare EEO/AAP reporting and HR metrics.
• Administer benefits enrollment and LOA/FMLA programs.
• Maintain confidential HR records and transactions.
• Support HR projects and policy communications.
