Job summary

ConvenientMD is seeking a Human Resources Generalist in Portsmouth, NH. The role oversees onboarding, employee changes, terminations, I-9 compliance, background checks, file maintenance, audits, and leave administration, with confidentiality and discretion in collaboration with the Director of Human Resources.

You will partner with finance, talent acquisition, and other teams to improve the employee experience and implement HR process improvements across the organization.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in onboarding, employee relations, reporting, and HRIS administration.
• Bachelor’s Degree in HR/Business Administration or equivalent.
• Strong MS Office and Smartsheet skills; experience with HRIS (ADP Workforce Now) preferred.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with high accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ADP admin, onboarding, status changes, and terminations with process improvements.
• Create and organize employee files; respond to access requests.
• Develop training materials and HR correspondence.
• Respond to employment verification requests and credentialing.
• Prepare standard HR reports and ad-hoc requests.
• Support onboarding for new hires and pre-hire tasks.
• Assist with HR technology upgrades and special projects.
