Job summary

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years in HR, strong communication skills, and proficiency with HRIS and MS Office. SHRM certifications are a plus, and confidentiality is essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• At least 3 years of HR experience in Generalist or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR compliance, and employee relations.
• Experience handling confidential information and sensitive workplace matters.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day HR operations and employee support.
• Partner with managers on employee relations issues, performance concerns, and investigations.
• Coordinate recruiting efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and orientation.
• Administer benefits programs and assist employees with questions.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and policies.
• Maintain employee records and HR documentation with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Support leave administration, accommodations, and other employee programs.
• Assist with performance management initiatives and employee development.
• Help create and maintain HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Generate reports and provide HR-related support to leadership.
