Job summary

Commercial Metals is seeking an HR professional to lead staffing, onboarding, and benefits administration in a dynamic environment. You will manage recruiting in our ATS, ensure policy compliance, and collaborate on employee relations and training initiatives.

The role requires bilingual English-Spanish communication and travel up to 25%. You will partner with leadership to support compensation planning, enrollments, and program administration while upholding our guiding principles and driving a

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of work experience in HR including recruiting, employee relations, benefits, training, compensation or labor relations.
• Knowledge of EEO, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA, and related laws required.
• Strong client-facing skills and ability to problem-solve with a consultative approach.
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to travel up to 25% and bilingual English-Spanish is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure staffing needs are met in a timely manner.
• Manage recruiting activity and documentation in the ATS and comply with affirmative action policies.
• Conduct new employee orientations.
• Foster positive employee relations and uphold CMC culture.
• Handle day-to-day HR data changes and ensure data integrity.
• Support compliance with EEO, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA and related laws.
• Assist with investigations and respond to HR-related charges.
• Participate in compensation planning and performance development.
• Educate employees about benefits and annual enrollment.
• Assist with training and facilitation; surface issues to HR Manager.
