Job summary

Commercial Metals LTD is seeking an HR professional to manage staffing, onboarding, and employee relations. You will ensure recruiting is compliant with EEO and other laws, manage data in the ATS, and support benefits education during enrollment. The role involves travel up to 25% and requires at least 1 year in HR.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of EEO, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA, Workers' Compensation, DOL, E-Verify and related laws.
• Strong client-facing, consultative problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Bilingual English-Spanish communication required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure staffing needs are met in a timely manner.
• Manage recruiting activity and documentation in ATS per affirmative action policies.
• Conduct new employee orientations.
• Foster positive employee relations and CMC culture.
• Process new hires and data changes accurately in the system.
• Ensure compliance with EEO, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA and related laws.
• Assist investigations and respond to government or internal charges.
• Support compensation planning, performance assessments and development planning.
• Educate employees on benefits and annual enrollment.
• Provide training and facilitation.
• Escalate issues to HR Manager and help solve them.
• Ensure consistent policy implementation.
