Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service seeks an HR Generalist to support policies and regulatory compliance within the Human Resources department. The role involves onboarding, employee relations, and development initiatives across locations.

Ideal candidates will have strong HR practices knowledge, excellent communication, and the ability to handle confidential information while maintaining HRIS data accuracy. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of HR experience preferred.
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for employee questions and HR-related issues.
• Support investigations and documentation for employee relations matters.
• Promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
• Partner with hiring managers to assist with interviews and onboarding.
• Coordinate onboarding and new hire orientation processes.
• Assist with performance review processes and employee development planning.
• Coach managers on performance issues and corrective actions.
• Administer benefits programs and respond to inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws.
• Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and handbook.
• Manage employee records and data in HRIS systems.
