Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. is seeking an HR Generalist to support the Human Resources department by maintaining policies and regulatory compliance. This on-site role in Illinois offers a schedule of Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.

to 4:30 p.m., with a starting wage of $24.00 to $28.00 per hour based on experience. You will serve as a primary contact for employee questions, assist with onboarding, benefits administration, performance reviews, investigations, and ensure federal, state and local

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary contact for employee questions, concerns, and HR-related issues.
• Support resolutions of employee relations matters, including investigations and documentation.
• Promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
• Partner with hiring managers to assist with the interview process as needed.
• Facilitate onboarding and new hire orientation processes.
• Support performance review processes and employee development planning.
• Coach managers on performance issues, documentation, and corrective actions.
• Administer employee benefits programs and respond to employee inquiries as needed.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws.
• Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook.
• Manage employee records and ensure data accuracy in HRIS systems.
• Coordinate employee training and development programs.
• Support Leadership development initiatives.
• Maintain HR systems, reports and employee data.
• Track and analyze HR metrics such as turnover, hiring and engagement.
• Ability to travel as needed to support multiple location
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Job Summary

Hours and Wages

• Monday-Friday, 7:30AM-4:30PM
• Starting wage: $24.00-$28.00 per hour, based on experience

Duties And Responsibilities

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
