Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery is seeking an HR Generalist to support the Human Resources department by maintaining personnel policies and regulatory compliance. The role involves handling employee questions, onboarding, benefits administration, and collaborating with managers on hiring and performance reviews.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in human resources preferred.
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary contact for employee questions, concerns, and HR-related issues.
• Support resolutions of employee relations matters, including investigations and documentation.
• Promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
• Partner with hiring managers to assist with the interview process as needed.
• Facilitate onboarding and new hire orientation processes.
• Support performance review processes and employee development planning.
• Coach managers on performance issues, documentation, and corrective actions.
• Administer employee benefits programs and respond to employee inquiries as needed.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws.
• Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook.
• Manage employee records and ensure data accuracy in HRIS systems.
• Coordinate employee training and development programs.
• Support Leadership development initiatives.
• Maintain HR systems, reports and employee data.
• Track and analyze HR metrics such as turnover, hiring and engagement.
• Ability to travel as needed to support multiple location
• Perform other related duties as assigned
