Portage County Job & Family Services (PCJFS) is seeking a Payroll/HR Administrator to manage payroll processes, prepare reports, and track leave balances. The role includes maintaining timekeeping systems and processing pay adjustments for PCJFS employees.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in HR, public or business administration or related field.
• Minimum two (2) years in a business services/payroll capacity.
• Valid Ohio driver's license and continuing eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Manage JFS payroll process and prepare payroll reports.
• Verify and track employee leave balances and timekeeping.
• Process pay adjustments and coordinate agency training.
• Write or revise JFS internal policies and procedures.
• Assist in recruitment and onboarding with Portage County HR.
• Maintain open position data and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support grievance responses and pre-disciplinary paperwork.
• Coordinate FMLA/ADA process and incident reporting.
