Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking an HR Generalist to support day-to-day human resources operations for our Portage site. The role involves employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, benefits and leave administration, payroll processing, and ensuring data integrity in UltiPro.

You will partner with site leadership and corporate to implement policies and programs that drive engagement and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field and at least 3 years of HR

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Human Resources or related field required.
• Minimum 3 years of HR experience with progressive duties in employee relations, recruiting, benefits, compensation or training.
• Experience in warehousing, third-party logistics, and/or distribution centers preferred.
• Leadership experience and/or managing others is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling and coaching to employees and management on employee relations and policies.
• Administer policies, benefit programs, and leave; coordinate with corporate on change management.
• Coordinate onboarding, new hire orientation, and training; ensure data accuracy in UltiPro.
• Participate in policy development and process improvements; conduct routine reporting.
• Support recruitment for non-exempt roles and liaison with staffing agencies.
