Job summary

C & J Catering is seeking an Human Resources Generalist to support daily HR operations at corporate location. You will manage payroll in Paylocity, handle recruiting, onboarding and offboarding, benefits administration, and OSHA/workers’ compensation processes while preserving confidentiality and a customer-first mindset.

You will work closely with the Senior HR Business Partner and other leaders to ensure accurate HR data, timely reports, and compliant processes across the employee life cycle.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HR experience post Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience with Paylocity or similar HRIS/Payroll systems.
• Experience with Workman’s compensation, unemployment, and OSHA 300 tracking.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with employees to troubleshoot HR tech issues by phone, email, and virtually.
• Process payroll submissions and maintenance in Paylocity.
• Handle recruiting, onboarding and offboarding procedures.
• Manage benefits administration and maintenance.
• Oversee OSHA 300 tracking and workers’ compensation claims; assist with unemployment claims hearings.
• Maintain HRIS data and run HR reports and audits.
• Assist with employee handbook updates and HR projects.
