Job summary

AAF International is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to provide services across multiple HR functions, including payroll, recruitment, employee relations, and records management. You will implement HR programs, manage timekeeping systems, and ensure compliance with labor laws while supporting a manufacturing workforce.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor's degree in HR or related field and at least five years of HR experience, ideally in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, etc.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a Human Resources role, manufacturing background preferred
• Knowledge of Human Resources law, including OSHA, Payroll, EEO, AA and Benefits
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
• Understanding of employment law
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Requires knowledge of compensation and benefits programs
• Ability to work with accuracy and efficiency to maintain employee records

Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation and administration of HR programs in payroll, recruiting, performance management, training, compensation, benefits, records management, safety and health, succession planning, and compliance.
• Utilize HRIS and Timekeeping software for time and attendance administration, and close period ending payroll with Corporate Payroll.
• Make enhancements and facilitate meetings for training, onboarding, and exit interviews, and explain relevant compensation/benefit programs to new hires or existing employees.
• Oversee supervisor and employee performance through problem identification and policy interpretation, solution evaluation and implementation, and coaching and counseling.
• Act as the primary contact for employees and managers to address HR issues while fostering good working relationships and credibility.
• Coordinate employee development plans and performance management.
• Manage HRIS and reporting metrics.
• Assist with Recruitment, selection and onboarding of new employees.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of HR information to corporate HR systems.
