Partners Professional is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role partners with managers to address employee concerns, conduct investigations, and promote a positive, compliant workplace while maintaining confidentiality.

You will administer onboarding, training programs, benefits, payroll support, and performance management to support organizational growth.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of Human Resources Generalist experience.
  • Experience in employee training, learning and development, employee relations, and HR compliance preferred.
  • Manufacturing or industrial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary contact for employee questions regarding HR policies, benefits, payroll, leave administration, and employment matters.
  • Partner with managers to address employee concerns, coaching opportunities, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans.
  • Conduct workplace investigations and document findings.
  • Promote a positive work environment through employee engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee records and sensitive information.
  • Coordinate and administer new hire orientation and onboarding programs.
  • Develop, schedule, and facilitate employee training programs, including compliance, safety, leadership, and professional development training.
  • Maintain the company's training calendar and training records.
  • Track employee certifications, licenses, and required training to ensure compliance.
  • Partner with department managers to identify training needs and create employee development plans.
  • Assist with succession planning and career development initiatives.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
  • Support cross-training initiatives to enhance workforce flexibility and employee growth.
  • Coordinate external training programs and educational opportunities as needed.
  • Coordinate the annual and ongoing performance review process.
  • Assist managers with goal setting, performance documentation, and employee development planning.
  • Monitor performance evaluation completion and provide guidance on best practices.
  • Support employee recognition and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Assist employees with benefit enrollment, qualifying life events, and benefit changes.
  • Respond to employee benefit questions and coordinate with benefit providers.
  • Support annual open enrollment activities.
  • Maintain accurate benefits records.
  • Review employee timekeeping information and process payroll-related changes.
  • Maintain employee personnel files and HRIS records.
  • Process employment status changes including promotions, transfers, compensation changes, and terminations.
  • Prepare employment verification letters and HR reports.
  • Track attendance, leave requests, FMLA, and other employee leave programs.
  • Maintain accurate HR documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Assist with OSHA reporting, safety documentation, and workers' compensation administration.
  • Maintain HR policies and procedures and communicate updates to employees.
  • Participate in internal audits and compliance initiatives.
  • Ensure required employment and training documentation is maintained.
  • Participate in HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with employee engagement events, wellness programs, and company communications.
  • Develop HR reports and metrics for leadership.
  • Support organizational change management initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws. This position serves as a trusted resource for employees and managers by providing guidance on HR policies, employee relations, training and development, benefits administration, payroll support, performance management, and compliance initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
