Qualifications

• 3–5 years of HR and payroll administration experience in a unionized work environment.
• Knowledge of CBAs, union grievance processes, contract interpretation, seniority systems, wage administration, and payroll compliance.
• Experience with HRIS and payroll systems preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate weekly payroll submissions and review payroll reports for accuracy.
• Serve as the primary payroll contact for employees and management.
• Prepare and submit certified payroll reports as required.
• Oversee payroll processing for union and non-union employees, ensuring accurate wage rates, overtime, and benefits.
• Maintain compliance with payroll regulations and collective bargaining agreements.
