Job summary

ComTec Solutions is seeking an HR Generalist to support the full employee lifecycle, emphasizing accurate payroll processing, onboarding, and benefits coordination. You will manage timekeeping, HRIS maintenance, employee relations, and policy compliance while upholding confidentiality and high service levels.

The role reports to the Director of Finance & Administration and involves collaboration with management to ensure consistent application of company policies and successful HR programs

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HR & payroll experience with core HR functions (payroll, benefits, policy compliance).
• Associate’s degree or related field, or equivalent experience; SHRM membership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage weekly payroll for hourly and salary staff ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Coordinate payroll taxes, W-2s, and year-end documentation.
• Oversee onboarding/offboarding, background checks, HRIS setup, and benefits enrollment.
• Maintain accurate HR files and ensure confidentiality and policy compliance.
