Job summary

Employ Partners in Cartersville, GA is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support payroll, benefits, and compliance across the organization. You will ensure accurate payroll processing, administer benefits, and maintain compliant HR records.

The role requires strong knowledge of federal and Georgia employment laws, excellent communication, and a collaborative approach to employee relations and onboarding. This is a full-time, direct-hire position with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Three or more years of Human Resources Generalist experience.
• Experience processing payroll and administering employee benefits.
• Strong knowledge of federal and Georgia employment laws and HR compliance.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS/payroll systems.

Responsibilities

• Process and administer payroll accurately and on time.
• Manage employee benefits enrollment, changes, and open enrollment activities.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEO, and other applicable labor laws.
• Maintain employee personnel files and HR records with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and new hire orientation.
• Support employee relations by responding to questions and helping resolve workplace concerns.
• Administer leave of absence programs and maintain required documentation.
• Assist with performance management, policy implementation, and employee development initiatives.
• Prepare HR reports and maintain accurate HRIS data.
• Stay current on employment law updates and recommend policy or process improvements as needed.
