Job summary

Openwork is seeking an HR Generalist in Lavonia, GA. In this role, you will ensure compliance with various employment laws, maintain accurate records, and support payroll processing.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of HR experience, preferably in employee relations and compliance, along with qualifications such as SHRM or HRCI Certification. This position primarily operates Monday to Thursday from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.

Qualifications

• Experience with ADP/ADP Workforce Now NextGen.
• SHRM or HRCI Certification.
• Minimum 5 years of HR Experience, preferably related to employee relations and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Federal, State and local employment laws.
• Maintain accurate records and support internal/external audits.
• Investigate and resolve employee relations issues.
• Advise managers and employees on HR policies, procedures and best practices.
• Support payroll processing.
• Perform administrative duties.
