Job summary

Athena Medical Management, LLC is seeking an HR Generalist to own core HR operations for our growing team of 160+ employees. You will manage biweekly payroll in Paylocity, handle 1099s, administer the 401(k) plan, and serve as the frontline for benefits and HRIS questions.

This hybrid-to-onsite role requires travel to 19+ GA centers and ensuring audit-ready payroll and compliance across I-9s, ERISA, ACA, and state regulations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HR experience in a company with 100+ employees.
• Hands-on payroll experience with biweekly payroll.
• Experience administering 401(k) plans and dealing with benefits questions.

Responsibilities

• Own biweekly payroll for 160+ W-2 employees in Paylocity from start to finish.
• Manage 1099 contractor payments across multiple schedules.
• Administer 401(k) plan and audit support.
• Be the Paylocity expert for access, changes, reporting, and login issues.
• Provide first-line support for employee benefits questions and life events.
• Ensure compliance with I-9s, personnel files, 1099s, FLSA, ACA, and ERISA.
• Execute full-cycle onboarding and offboarding, background checks, and I-9/E-Verify.
