Job summary

The Mandel JCC of the Palm Beaches is seeking an HR Generalist to join a small, but mighty HR team. You will support payroll, benefits, compliance, HRIS, and employee lifecycle processes while partnering with senior leaders to drive people initiatives in a non-profit setting.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience in Human Resources or Payroll
• Experience with HRMS/HRIS software (Paycom a plus)
• Experience in benefits administration
• Non-profit experience is a plus
• General knowledge of employment laws and practices
• Proven ability to handle confidential information

Responsibilities

• Assist HR Director with payroll processing and benefits administration
• Support employee lifecycle processes: onboarding, performance reviews, offboarding
• Maintain HRIS data integrity and run routine reports
• Assist in recruitment and career-path planning with department leaders
• Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal employment laws
• Support audits related to 401(k) and workers’ compensation
