Job summary

Rauch & Associates in Upstate South Carolina is hiring an HR Generalist to manage the full employee lifecycle on a shift basis within a distribution operation. You will handle benefits, leaves, employee relations, performance, and engagement while working primarily on the floor with the team.

You’ll lead benefits administration, FMLA, coaching managers, investigations, and disciplinary matters, and partner with leadership on staffing and compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HR experience, ideally in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution setting.
• SHRM or PHR certification preferred
• Strong HRIS skills and solid proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
• Comfortable staying organized under deadline in a fast moving operation
• Good judgment, integrity, and attention to detail
• Valid driver’s license, with eligibility for coverage under company insurance

Responsibilities

• Run benefits administration, including open enrollment, claims, and employee communications
• Manage FMLA and other leaves of absence
• Coach managers and employees through discipline, terminations, conflict, transfers, and policy questions
• Handle investigations, performance management, and disciplinary matters
• Partner with site leadership on staffing, recruiting, and retention
• Lead policies, training, and engagement surveys
• Support safety and policy compliance, including PPE and uniform programs
• Maintain compliance with DOT and OSHA regulations and supply chain security and quality programs
• Represent the site in the local community
