Job summary

Epic Piping and Epic Distribution are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support site HR activities across multiple locations in Houston, TX. The role focuses on onboarding, employee relations, benefits inquiries, training compliance, HR records, and day-to-day HR needs.

You will partner with Talent Acquisition, Safety, HR Business Partners, and the HR Director to ensure compliant HR processes, effective relationships, and timely escalation of complex issues in a fast-paced industrial

Qualifications

3+ years of broad human resource experience, preferably in site-based manufacturing, industrial, distribution, or multi-shift environment.
PHR or SHRM-CP certification a plus; not required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to use HRIS, learning management, payroll/timekeeping, and reporting systems.

Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for all HR-related matters at assigned sites, responding to employee and supervisor inquiries and connecting them with the appropriate resource when needed.
Develop collaborative relationships with site and operational leaders; understand daily workforce needs and provide guidance on established HR policies and processes.
Support managers with employee matters, documentation, attendance concerns, and consistent application of HR procedures; elevate sensitive or complex issues to HR Director or HR Business Partner.
