Job summary

Renewal by Andersen in Los Angeles is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to guide employees through onboarding, expand and implement HR programs, and be a trusted presence across the team. You will own onboarding for new hires, maintain I-9 documentation, and keep HRIS records up to date.

You will support benefits, leave administration, recruiting, investigations, and HR operations across California, helping build a compliant and engaging work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of HR experience in a generalist or coordinator role.
• Knowledge of federal employment law; multi-state experience is a plus.
• Experience with recruiting coordination and end-to-end hiring processes.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting: manage full-cycle recruiting, create job postings, review applications, and communicate with candidates.
• Onboarding: own end-to-end onboarding, from offer to day one, and oversee new hire paperwork.
• Day-to-Day HR: serve as primary point of contact for HR questions and administer benefits and leave.
• Employee Relations & Investigations: support coaching, investigations, and corrective action processes.
• Reporting & HR Operations: assist with HRIS projects, headcount and turnover reporting, and ad hoc requests.
• Training & Engagement: help develop HR training materials and support engagement initiatives.
