Job summary

Divisions Maintenance Group (DMG) is seeking a Human Resources Generalist in Cincinnati, OH. You will work with HR Business Partners, Payroll, and Total Rewards to handle HRIS, onboarding, benefits, and compliance.

The role requires applying HR principles across policy implementation, recruitment, and employment law. You will support investigations, terminations, open enrollment, orientation, and confidential information handling while partnering with vendors like ADP and Jobvite.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in HR administration.
• General understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
• Experience with onboarding new employees.
• Understanding of HR law and its application.
• Ability to communicate with employees at all levels and handle difficult conversations.
• Calm, professional demeanor under pressure.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Experience handling confidential information.
• Strong work ethic and detail orientation.
• Organization and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage updates in the HRIS and other systems.
• Support HR Partners with employee relations matters under supervision.
• Prepare internal offers letters, HRIS changes, and coaching docs.
• Coordinate with vendors like ADP, Concur, Jobvite, and HRIS tools.
• Own New Hire Orientation, I-9 compliance, and HRIS signatures.
• Assist Sr. Benefits Specialist with Open Enrollment and HRIS benefits.
• Organize and expedite HR department workload.
• Maintain documentation and initiate follow-up actions.
• Coordinate termination/exit interviews and related paperwork.
• Manage HR inbox and ensure timely task completion.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
