Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a hands-on Human Resources Generalist to support payroll, benefits, recruiting, onboarding, and HRIS administration in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications

• Payroll processing experience – required.
• Experience with recruiting/staffing agencies.
• Strong knowledge of employee benefits.
• 3–5 years of HR Generalist experience.
• Experience with recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and HR administration.
• HRIS experience; Paycom experience is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR support and customer service to employees and managers.
• Recruit, interview, and assist with hiring qualified candidates.
• Post positions, review resumes, screen candidates, prepare offer letters, and coordinate onboarding.
• Conduct new hire orientations and support training initiatives.
• Process weekly payroll accurately and on time.
• Assist with medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and other benefit programs.
• Process benefit enrollments and terminations and assist with leave and accommodation requests.
• Handle employee relations, disciplinary matters, investigations, and performance management.
• Maintain accurate employee records and files in accordance with legal requirements.
• Ensure new hires complete employment eligibility verification through E-Verify.
• Maintain job descriptions, job titles, and classifications within the HRIS.
• Support employee engagement initiatives and surveys.
• Provide training and guidance to employees and managers regarding HR policies and procedures.
• Assist with workers’ compensation claims and OSHA reporting.
• Help develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and programs.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Support workplace safety programs and maintain a safe work environment.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and help improve HR processes and efficiency.
• Perform other HR-related duties as assigned.
