Job summary

ADP, Inc. in White Plains, NY is seeking an HR Generalist to support onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, and employee relations. You will develop training programs and maintain HR policies under the guidance of the HR Business Partner.

You will lead hiring processes, conduct interviews, manage performance reviews, and ensure compliance with employment laws. A Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of HR experience are preferred; SHRM-CP is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2+ years experience in interviewing and hiring staff
• At least 3 years of human resource management experience is preferred.
• SHRM-CP preferred

Responsibilities

• Recruitment and staffing: recruit, interview, and hire qualified applicants.
• Collaborate with managers to define required skills and competencies.
• Update job descriptions with KPIs and perform background checks.
• Onboarding and new hire orientation to integrate new employees.
• Employee relations and performance management: handle inquiries, attend disciplinary meetings, assist in performance reviews.
• Compensation and benefits: ensure payroll accuracy, administer benefits, conduct salary benchmarking.
• Compliance and policy development: ensure compliance with laws and maintain HR policies.
• Teamwork and communication: maintain professional relations and confidentiality across departments.
