Job summary

Optalis Healthcare is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to manage personnel records, eligibility verification, onboarding, and ongoing HR support. You will handle employee inquiries, coordinate leaves, and assist with payroll and HRIS audits.

Required are 3+ years HR experience and a Bachelor’s in HR or PHR (preferred). Strong organizational skills, confidentiality, and effective communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years HR experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources (related field) or PHR certification preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to exercise mature judgment and initiative in analyzing problems and recommending solutions.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of employee, patient, and company information.
• Ability to prioritize duties and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Demonstrate flexibility in handling multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Compiling and maintaining personnel documents and auditing electronic personnel files for compliance.
• Verify employment eligibility and perform background checks and license verification.
• Coordinate employee leave and onboarding/new hire orientation.
• Provide timely and courteous information and support to employees; assist Payroll; back up as needed.
• Provide general HRIS and administrative support; manage daily office functions.
