H Mart is seeking an HR Generalist to serve as the primary HR contact for designated offices, factories, and retail departments in Lyndhurst, NJ. You will ensure policies are communicated and applied, manage employee relations, and support onboarding and offboarding processes with fairness and compliance.

The role requires 3–5 years of HR generalist experience, a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, and proficiency in MS Office and UKG Pro HRIS.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years progressive HR experience in generalist/HRBP role, preferably multi-site incl. manufacturing.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with diverse teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in fast-paced environments.
• Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS (UKG Pro).
• Bilingual Korean and English preferred.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the primary HR contact for designated office, factory and/or retail departments/companies.
• Ensure HR policies and handbook are communicated and applied consistently.
• Handle employee relations matters with empathy; conduct investigations and document findings.
• Manage disciplinary processes with documentation and compliance.
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure labor-law compliance.
• Coordinate onboarding with HR for new hires.
• Manage offboarding, including exit interviews and asset deactivation.
• Collaborate with safety/compliance to meet HR standards.
• Provide coaching to managers on performance, discipline, and conflicts.
• Maintain confidentiality and policy consistency.
• Assist with benefits enrollment, changes and inquiries.
