Job summary

Atlantic Emergency Solutions is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join the HR team and provide support across Atlantic Emergency Solutions and Atlantic Heavy Duty.

You will handle employee relations, leave administration, compliance, benefits, and HRIS tasks for multiple locations, while collaborating with managers and leadership to maintain a positive, compliant work environment.

Qualifications

• Broad HR experience with emphasis on employee relations and compliance.
• Experience administering FMLA leaves and workers’ compensation processes.
• Knowledge of OSHA and EEO regulations and reporting requirements.
• Experience with HRIS systems, reporting, and employee records.

Responsibilities

• Provide general HR support including employee relations, workplace investigations, HRIS updates, reporting, compliance and day-to-day HR needs.
• Assist with employee relations matters and workplace investigations, including interviews and documentation.
• Administer the FMLA leave process from notice through return to work.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation claims, OSHA reporting, and EEO compliance.
• Support recruiting activities, background checks, onboarding, and new hire processing.
• Collaborate with managers and leadership across multiple locations.
