Job summary

Avalign Technologies Inc in Ohio seeks an HR Generalist to partner with leaders and employees in a fast-paced medical device manufacturing setting. Reporting to the Director of HR, this role supports the full employee lifecycle and ensures policy consistency.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years HR experience in regulated environments, strong employee relations, staffing, onboarding, and HRIS proficiency, and is willing to travel weekly between Mentor and Akron with hybrid options considered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Experience supporting both hourly and salaried employees.
• Knowledge of employee relations, performance management, recruiting, compensation, benefits, HRIS, and employment practices.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted HR advisor on employee relations, performance management, organizational effectiveness, and consistent application of HR policies and practices.
• Coach and support leaders on performance, accountability, employee engagement, retention, and workforce effectiveness.
• Assist the Director of Human Resources with investigations, attendance, workplace conflicts, and policy matters with proper documentation.
• Partner with recruiters and hiring managers on talent acquisition and onboarding for new employees.
• Partner with HR Shared Services to ensure accurate HRIS transactions and employee records.
• Travel between the Mentor, OH and Akron, OH facilities; hybrid work arrangements considered on a case-by-case basis.
