Job summary

AmeriQual Group in Evansville, IN, is seeking an HR professional to handle employee relations, training, performance management, policy implementation, recruitment, and regulatory compliance at a senior level.

The ideal candidate will lead investigations, support engagement and retention initiatives, manage HRIS data, generate reports for leadership, and ensure consistent application of policies in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing setting, including employee relations and hourly employee recruitment.
• Experience and comfort with conducting workplace investigations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust at all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems (preferably UKG).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations matters, including coaching, conflict resolution, investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
• Partner with managers to address performance concerns and ensure consistent application of policies and practices.
• Lead full-cycle recruitment for non-exempt positions, including sourcing, interviewing, offer preparation, and onboarding coordination.
• Administer HR policies and procedures and assist in the development and implementation of updates as needed.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations.
• Maintain data integrity within the HRIS and generate reports for leadership as needed.
• Analyze HR metrics such as turnover, absenteeism, and time-to-fill to support decision-making.
