ITC Manufacturing seeks an HR Generalist to support daily HR operations at the Columbus plant. You will partner with leadership to implement policies, manage employee relations, oversee benefits, recruiting, training, and compliance to foster a positive workplace culture.

The role requires 3-5 years in HR within manufacturing, strong knowledge of employment laws, and experience with ADP and HRIS systems. Excellent communication and confidentiality are essential for success in this fast-paced

Qualifications

• 3-5 years HR experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices.
• Experience with HRIS (ADP preferred), Microsoft Word and Excel, and database tools.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with discretion.
• Strong organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced setting.
• Collaborative, employee-focused, solutions-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions regarding benefits, time and attendance, policies, and HR matters.
• Support employee relations by addressing concerns, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate onboarding, HRIS setup, payroll entry, orientation, and training.
• Manage job postings, applicant flow, pre-screen interviews, and candidate assessments.
• Assist with workforce planning and temporary staffing coordination.
• Coordinate and track employee training programs and maintain records.
• Maintain employee files and HRIS records in compliance with laws.
• Process payroll inputs, validate timecards, and monitor attendance systems.
• Respond to unemployment claims and support audits and reporting.
• Partner on safety, injury response, and return-to-work initiatives.
• Support performance management, recognition, and engagement efforts.
• Participate in cross-functional HR projects and process improvements.
