Job summary

MIT's HR Generalist, Leaves and Accommodations, will advise and counsel employees and managers on complex leave laws, FMLA, MA PFML, workers’ compensation, and ADA accommodations. You will manage interactive dialogues and long-term disability claims for assigned departments, collaborating with client areas and vendors to ensure compliant, timely service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; experience in leave administration/HR generalist roles preferred.
• Strong knowledge of FMLA, MA PFML, Workers’ Compensation, ADA; complex policy interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Advise and counsel MIT employees and managers on complex leave laws and policies, workers’ comp, ADA accommodations; manage interactive dialogue.
• Process long-term disability claims and collaborate with client areas and vendors for compliant, timely service.
