Compassus is seeking a Human Resources Generalist I to model our values of Compassion, Integrity, Excellence, Teamwork, and Innovation while promoting our six Pillars of Success. The role ensures legal compliance, supports employee relations, and partners with the Employment Law team on claims.

Responsibilities include investigating employment matters, administering policies, and preparing status reports for HR management. Healthcare experience is preferred; PHR or SHRM-CP advancement is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Two years HR management experience with emphasis on employee relations preferred.
• Healthcare HR experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Collaborates with team members and leaders to resolve employment matters.
• Conducts investigations of complaints from management and staff at all levels.
• Manages investigations when reported by the compliance department.
• Ensures uniform and equitable application of company policies and procedures.
• Develops trust with departmental management through timely, integrity-based solutions.
• Investigates compliance matters related to FMLA, ADA, FLSA, Title VII, and other regulations.
