Job summary

Compassus is seeking a Human Resources Generalist I in Reno, NV to model our values and promote the Compassus philosophy through the 6 Pillars of Success. You will ensure legal compliance, support colleague relations, and facilitate performance plans to maintain staff compliance.

Responsibilities include handling employment matter resolutions, conducting thorough investigations, and ensuring fair policy application across departments, while partnering with the Employment Law team as needed.

Qualifications

• Two years of HR management experience with a focus on employee relations preferred.
• Healthcare HR experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with team members and leaders to resolve employment matters.
• Conducts investigations into complaints from management and staff at all levels.
• Ensures consistent and equitable application of company policies and procedures.
• Builds trust with management to provide timely, integrity-based solutions.
• Handles compliance matters related to FMLA, ADA, FLSA, Title VII and other regulations.
