Job summary

BSI Engineering is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations for an engineering consulting firm with ~230 employees across three locations. This full-time, exempt role focuses on recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, leave coordination, employee relations, and HR operations.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of HR experience, a Bachelor’s degree in HR/Business, and the ability to work independently while juggling multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred, or equivalent HR experience.
• Minimum of three years of progressive HR experience.
• Proven experience managing full-cycle recruitment and onboarding processes.
• Experience supporting benefits administration and employee leave programs.
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices.

Responsibilities

• Support full-cycle recruitment, screening, interviewing, and offer materials.
• Partner with managers to support recruiting strategies and processes.
• Create engaging job postings to attract qualified candidates.
• Coordinate onboarding activities, new hire orientation, and benefits orientation.
• Support pre-employment activities including background screening and system setup.
• Provide employee relations support and HR operations across departments.
• Assist with benefits administration including enrollments and changes.
• Coordinate leave programs such as FMLA and disability.
• Maintain HR data in HRIS and related systems.
