Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking an HR Generalist to support HR functions across assigned properties. This hybrid role covers recruitment, associate relations, compensation, benefits administration, and regulatory compliance under policy guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field from an accredited college or university.
• 3–5 years of HR experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bilingual English & Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as HR contact for assigned properties and respond to inquiries about policies and programs.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local HR requirements and regulations (e.g., FMLA, I-9s, FLSA, EEO, FCRA).
• Support with associate relations, policy communication, investigations, and handbook implementation.
• Assist with population and maintenance of the HR Information System.
• Coordinate training, compensation and benefits activities with HR Corporate; guide associates and management.
• May administer recruitment; post ads, review applications, schedule interviews, and conduct background checks.
