Job summary

IFCO Group is seeking an HR Generalist to deliver high-quality HR support in the service center, ensuring policy compliance and effective communication among peers, managers, and customers. The role covers recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits management, employee relations, and training, under supervision of HR Manager and General Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field preferred.
• PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
• 4+ years of progressive HR Generalist experience required.
• Experience in a mid-size, non-union warehouse/distribution center or manufacturing environment preferred.
• 2+ years in HR duties such as new hire/termination processing, FMLA tracking, workers' compensation administration, employee recognition programs, and employee dispute resolution.

Responsibilities

• Assist with staffing levels and recruiting at service centers.
• Manage onboarding and new hires; coordinate recruitment sources.
• Administer payroll, benefits enrollment, and HRIS data.
• Support employee relations, training, and development initiatives.
• Oversee workers' compensation processes and claims.
• Promote company policies and legal compliance.
• Prepare payroll/timekeeping reports.
• Provide HR metrics and reporting to management.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws.
