Job summary

The University of West Georgia is seeking an HR Generalist to provide operational and transactional HR support within the Talent Management unit. You will help with recruitment, onboarding, performance management, workforce planning, and policy interpretation, while maintaining records and assisting with special projects.

Responsibilities include coordinating HR processes, researching job information, and supporting classification, compensation, and documentation for workforce changes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Five (5) years of progressively responsible HR experience or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and transactional HR support within assigned divisions and departments.
• Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding activities; support hiring workflow and documentation.
• Assist with position descriptions, classification, compensation, and workforce planning activities.
• Prepare reports, analyze workforce data, maintain HR records, and support compliance initiatives.
