Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of three years of professional HR experience is required.
• Experience in higher education is preferred.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems; ADP Workforce Now experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with discretion.

Responsibilities

• The HR Generalist supports recruitment, posting jobs and assisting hiring managers through the hiring process.
• It maintains employee records, assists with onboarding, and supports HRIS data entry and reporting.
• It provides administrative support, handles inquiries, and manages communications for the HR office.
• It assists with employee relations, performance management documentation, and escalation to HR leadership as needed.
• It coordinates training sessions and development programs for faculty, staff, and student workers.
