Job summary

Paycom is seeking an HR Generalist to support a broad range of human resources functions in a fast-paced environment. You will ensure compliance with employment laws, manage benefits and recruitment, and contribute to policy development and staff training.

The role emphasizes collaboration with leadership, accurate record-keeping, and fostering a positive workplace culture while guiding employees and managers on HR best practices.

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years progressive HR experience required.
• Knowledge of California and Federal labor laws.
• Experience with HRMS systems such as Paycom.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME on a broad range of HR matters.
• Administer benefits, leaves, and workers' compensation.
• Manage full-cycle recruitment and relationships with agencies.
• Develop, maintain, and update job descriptions; assist with salary structure.
• Assist with HR policies, programs, and training delivery.
• Oversee onboarding, offboarding, performance management, and reporting.
• Maintain personnel records and ensure compliance.
• Investigate and resolve workplace concerns confidentially.
