Job summary

Great Western Dining Service is seeking an HR Generalist to support daily HR functions across the full employee lifecycle. You will manage onboarding, background checks, HRIS/Payroll tasks, employee records, benefits and leave administration, while ensuring compliance with laws and best practices.

You will work with a diverse team, contribute to policy development, and help deliver training and development opportunities as the company grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• PHR certification is a plus.
• At least 1 year HR management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Onboards new hires and manages background checks and eligibility verifications.
• Processes separations and status changes in HRIS/Payroll systems.
• Maintains employee files in electronic and paper form.
• Administers compensation, benefits, and leave programs.
• Assists with payroll processing and tax changes.
