Job summary

January is hiring an HR Generalist to own the employee lifecycle end to end, from offer through exit, supporting performance and comp cycles, managing leaves and visa cases, and serving as the connection between employees, outside counsel, and lawyers.

This role builds scalable HR infrastructure, maintains the compliance calendar, administers benefits and Open Enrollment, and leads payroll processing every two weeks, turning HR data into actionable people analytics.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in HR/People Operations.
• Experience coordinating onboarding, benefits, payroll, and leave.
• Strong collaboration with Legal, IT, Finance, and outside counsel.

Responsibilities

• Own the employee lifecycle end to end from offer to exit.
• Support semi-annual performance cycle and annual comp cycle.
• Manage leaves and accommodations and visa casework.
• Develop scalable HR systems and HRIS data analytics.
• Partner with Legal and external vendors to ensure compliance.
