Job summary

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of human resource programs, regulations, and guidelines.
• Knowledge of federal and state laws, including FMLA, ADA, and FLSA.

• Extensive experience with Microsoft Office and HR software.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment within policy guidelines.
• Strong interpersonal skills for handling sensitive information professionally.
• Strong organization and prioritization; ability to multi-task.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Experience providing policy interpretation and guidance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert and strategic leader for employee relations, workplace investigations, grievance administration, policy interpretation, compliance, and organizational learning initiatives.
• Provide coaching and training to supervisors and staff to strengthen leadership practices and improve employee performance.
• Provide backup coverage for other HR Generalists to ensure cross-coverage within the department.
• Collaborate with supervisors and employees to promote effective working relationships and strong workplace communication.
