Job summary

Dominium, a leader in affordable housing development and management, is seeking an HR Generalist to advise employees and leaders on employee relations, performance management, and compliance. You will handle investigations, leave administration, ADA accommodations, and workers' comp across multiple sites, ensuring a positive, inclusive workplace culture.

Responsibilities include coordinating safety and HR compliance, supporting workforce planning, and assisting HR projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years of HR experience with a focus on employee relations.
• Experience conducting workplace investigations.
• Experience administering FMLA, ADA accommodations, and workers' compensation programs.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, conflict resolution, and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Conduct workplace investigations and document findings with recommended actions.
• Provide employee relations guidance and coaching to managers and staff.
• Administer leave programs including FMLA and state/local leaves.
• Manage ADA accommodations and workers' compensation processes.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation claims and return-to-work efforts.
• Maintain OSHA records and safety reporting compliance.
• Ensure HR compliance and respond to policy inquiries.
• Partner with leaders on workforce planning and analytics.
• Support various HR projects and initiatives.
