Job summary

Wexford Health Sources, Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Specialist to deliver full HR generalist support for managers, supervisors, and frontline staff at our Pittsburgh office.

Responsibilities include employee relations counseling, enforcing HR policies, benefits administration, investigations, and performance management. The role covers workers’ compensation, leave administration, and HRIS maintenance, with opportunities for training and professional growth in a large correctional health

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR Management or related field.
• PHR or SHRM certification preferred.
• Experience with benefits, payroll, and workers’ compensation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• HR point of contact for WHS contracts and staff.
• Oversee employee relations, performance management, policies & procedures, benefits, HRIS.
• Review HR practices for validity and efficiency and suggest improvements.
• Coach supervisors and managers to ensure fair treatment of employees.
• Investigate and address complex employee-related issues; maintain records.
