Job summary

Mom's Meals is seeking an HR Generalist to support the full spectrum of human resources functions and ensure a positive, compliant workplace. You will be the first contact for HR questions and partner with employees and managers across the organization.

The role requires an associate degree or 5+ years HR experience, strong customer service and communication skills, and proficiency with HRIS, payroll, and timekeeping.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in HR or related field or 5+ years HR experience.
• Solid understanding of HR practices and processes.
• Experience with HR systems including timekeeping and payroll.

Responsibilities

• Conduct orientations and process new hires in HRIS and I-9/E-Verify.
• Maintain employee files and records.
• Serve as first point of contact for questions on process, policy, and benefits.
• Enhance job satisfaction through issue resolution and employee engagement.
• Handle employee relations and partner with HRBP on conflict resolution.
• Support leave requests and escalate when needed.
• Drive HR program improvements aligned with company values.
• Ensure policy compliance at site and promote retention.
• Assist offboarding procedures for low-risk terminations.
• Respond to unemployment claims and related interviews.
