Mom’s Meals | A Purfoods Company is seeking an HR Generalist to support the full scope of HR functions. You will be the main contact for HR questions, conduct orientations, maintain records, and partner with HRBP to drive engagement and compliance.

The role emphasizes issue resolution, policy guidance, and ongoing HR program improvements to support retention and a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or minimum of 5+ years of HR experience.
• Knowledge of general HR practices
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and work streams to deliver results
• Experience with HR systems including timekeeping, payroll, benefits
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Experience using MS Office, PowerPoint and SharePoint

Responsabilités

• Conduct in-person and virtual orientations and process new hires in applicable systems (HRIS, I-9/E-Verify)
• Maintain employee files and records electronically
• Serve as the first point of contact for employee/manager questions about process, policy, compensation, benefits, and performance
• Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues and partnering with HRBP on engagement
• Handle tier 1 employee relations and work toward amicable solutions with leaders and HRBP
• Evaluate and escalate employee concerns to HRBP or Employee Relations
• Support leave questions and elevate to HRBP when needed
• Drive continuous improvement in HR programs and align with company values
• Ensure compliance with company policies at employee and site level
• Encourage practices that promote retention of key talent
• Support offboarding for low-risk terminations (letters, HRIS processing, badge removal)
• Respond to unemployment claims and fact finding interviews

Position Responsibilities May Include, But Not Limited To

• Conduct in person and virtual orientations and process new hires in applicable systems (HRIS, I-9/E-Verify)

• Serve as the first point of contact for employee/manager questions or concerns about process, policy, procedure, compensation, benefits, and performance or conduct
• Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly and partnering with HRBP and business leaders on conflict resolution and employee engagement activities
• Handle tier 1 employee relations issues and work towards amicable solutions with the business leader and HR Business Partner
• Evaluate and **escalate** employee concerns requiring additional intervention to the HRBP or Employee Relations team
• Support employee questions around leave and elevate to the HR Business Partner when necessary
• Drive continuous improvement in HR programs, proactively making recommendations for improvements in a manner consistent with the company’s mission values
• Ensure employee and site compliance with company policies
• Encourage people and culture practices that promote retention of key talent
• Support employee offboarding for low-risk terminations (termination letter, termination processing-HRIS, badge access removal, personal item removal)
• Respond to unemployment claims and fact finding interviews

Required Skills And Experience

• Associate’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or minimum of 5+ years of Human Resources related experience
• Knowledge of general HR practices
• Proven ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and work streams to deliver quality results
• Experience with HR systems to include timekeeping, payroll, benefits, etc.
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Experience utilizing productivity tools such as Microsoft Office, PowerPoint and SharePoint

Preferred Skills And Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• SHRM Certification
• Experience in Manufacturing and/or Healthcare industry

Physical Requirements

• Repetitive motions that include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
• Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting, remaining in a stationary position for prolonged periods
• Visual perception to perform job including peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
