Mom’s Meals is hiring an HR Generalist to support the full spectrum of HR functions, partnering with employees and managers as the first HR contact. The role focuses on onboarding, records maintenance, policy guidance, and continuous improvement aligned with our values.

You'll handle employee relations at tier 1, assist with leave questions, and drive engagement initiatives while ensuring compliance and retention across the organization.

Formación

• Associate’s degree in HR or 5+ years HR exp.
• Knowledge of general HR practices.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver quality results.
• Experience with HR systems including timekeeping, payroll, benefits.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct orientations for new hires in HRIS, I-9/E-Verify processes.
• Maintain employee files and records in electronic format.
• Serve as first point of contact for questions about process, policy, compensation, benefits, and performance.
• Collaborate with HRBP to enhance engagement and resolve conflicts.
• Handle tier 1 employee relations issues and work toward amicable solutions.
• Escalate concerns to HRBP or Employee Relations as needed.
• Answer questions around leave and coordinate with HRBP.
• Drive continuous improvement in HR programs aligned with company values.
• Ensure site compliance with policies and promote retention of key talent.
• Support offboarding for low-risk terminations, including processing and access removal.
• Respond to unemployment claims and fact-finding interviews.

The HR Generalist supports the full scope of human resources functions to ensure a positive, productive, and compliant workplace. This role serves as a key partner to employees and managers serving as the first point of contact for HR Related questions.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to

• Conduct in person and virtual orientations and process new hires in applicable systems (HRIS, I-9/E-Verify)
• Maintain employee files and records in electronic format
• Serve as the first point of contact for employee/manager questions or concerns about process, policy, procedure, compensation, benefits, and performance or conduct
• Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly and partnering with HRBP and business leaders on conflict resolution and employee engagement activities
• Handle tier 1 employee relations issues and work towards amicable solutions with the business leader and HR Business Partner
• Evaluate and escape employee concerns requiring additional intervention to the HRBP or Employee Relations team
• Support employee questions around leave and escape to the HR Business Partner when necessary
• Drive continuous improvement in HR programs, proactively making recommendations for improvements in a manner consistent with the company’s mission values
• Ensure employee and site compliance with company policies
• Encourage people and culture practices that promote retention of key talent
• Support employee offboarding for low-risk terminations (termination letter, termination processing-HRIS, badge access removal, personal item removal)
• Respond to unemployment claims and fact finding interviews

Required Skills and Experience

• Associate’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or minimum of 5+ years of Human Resources related experience
• Knowledge of general HR practices
• Proven ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and work streams to deliver quality results
• Experience with HR systems to include timekeeping, payroll, benefits, etc.
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Experience utilizing productivity tools such as Microsoft Office, PowerPoint and SharePoint

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• SHRM Certification
• Experience in Manufacturing and/or Healthcare industry

Physical Requirements

• Repetitive motions that include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
• Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting, remaining in a stationary position for prolonged periods
• Visual perception to perform job including peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
