Job summary

Roberts Wesleyan University is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to act as the frontline ambassador for the Office of Human Resources. The role focuses on compassionate, responsive service to faculty, staff, and student workers, while auditing decentralized HR data and administering benefits and leave programs.

In addition, the Generalist conducts bi-weekly payroll audits, maintains HRIS records, and ensures compliance with federal, state, and university policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in HR, business, or related field.
• 1–3 years of progressive HR experience with benefits/admin/leave management.
• Experience collaborating across a large organization.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first HR contact for faculty, staff, and student workers with welcoming service.
• Support employee lifecycle from onboarding to life events, enrollment, and offboarding.
• Manage benefits enrollment, open enrollment, and leave administration with compliance.
